Jose D. Elizondo is a New York-based writer of Costa Rican origin whose literary work spans poetry, short stories, and novels.
Having lived in France and residing in New York since 1997, his writing explores love, memory, displacement, the passage of time, and the connections between human existence and the universe.
His published works include Dulces maleficios, El demonio de las alas plateadas, Mapas para encontrarte, Descalzo en Marte, Segnali nella galassia, and The Immense Creature, his first poetry collection written for English-speaking readers
